Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel at Tangram

“The hotel looked great and had a lot of great amenities. Right away you could tell the hotel was newly renovated/built, everything looked great. I loved the location of the hotel as it’s right in Flushing China town and close to the airport (LGA). As for amenities, the hotel has a great fitness center, swimming pool, and tennis court. The amenities in the room, includes a safe, microwave, fridge, iron, Kevin Murphy hair products,and more. Loved the design and look of the hotel and the price. As others noted, there was a learning curve for using the elevators as only some of them go on all the floors. Overall, clean and modern hotel with kind staff.”

“Renaissance Hotel at Tangram was spectacular. The 12th floor lobby and open deck lounge/restaurant overlooked the Manhattan skyline and planes landing at LaGuardia. Service was superior and food was good as well. Good value considering the location.”

“Stayed at the Renaissance Tangram for a night and the location is 10/10. What I loved: • The Vibe: It feels like stepping into a futuristic boutique hotel. The black-and-white geometric design is very "Instagrammable." • Tech-forward: The electronic room displays and the easy-to-use smart TV made the stay feel high-end. • Convenience: Having a steakhouse, coffee bar, and an entire mall downstairs is a game-changer. Things to know before you book: 1. The "Elevator Shuffle": You have to go up to the 12th floor to check in, then take a different elevator back down to your room (Floors 4-10). It takes a few extra minutes every time you leave. 2. Room Size: The King Room is definitely on the compact side. The bathroom layout is a bit cramped, specifically the toilet area. 3. Climate Control: My heater seemed to have a "soft cap" at 70°F. Even when set higher, it didn't quite kick in, which was a bit frustrating during a cold night. Overall, it’s a stylish, super-convenient hub for anyone exploring Tangram. Great for a quick city getaway”

“Renaissance New York Flushing Hotel at Tangram located in Flushing is very convenient to #7 subway station (3 blocks), located in the Chinatown above Tangram shopping mall with lots of eateries there and around. Hotel entry is bit confusing as there are lots of doors at entry, look for one for hotel with door man standing. Take the elevator to floor 12 for check in. Gym on the 3rd floor, Exec lounge on 11th. Main lobby at 12th has restaurant, bar and outdoor area with VW bus food truck. View here is excellent for Manhattan and Laguardia airport runway, watching planes land and take off. Hotel is clean and modern, room has similar feel as some AC hotels, small room but don’t feel cramped and spacious with open bathroom design. Bed and pillow was very comfy. Nice comfy couch by the windows with a table that moves, has coffee/tea machine, micro fridge. Not much drawer spaces but plenty of space to hang clothes. There are four elevators in two banks. Two left serves all floors with card access to rooms, two right serves rooms (3rd -12th), so to use left two for access to parking or 1st level for exit. The room floors will only have two right elevator, but there is a black door to left that can take you to the left two elevators. Amenities: GYM located on 3rd seems to be shared location with the building GYM membership, there is a pool but no hotel key card access. Gym is very well equipped, with some free weight racks, machines, cardio equipment, dumbbells, cattle balls, etc. has small room for yoga/stretch, both men and women change room. Has towels and water fountains. Exec lounge is located in 11th, usually have some snacks, Starbuck coffee machine, fruits, drinks (sodas, water, juices), has a microwave for use. Bit small but lots of stand-alone chairs by long tables by the window that doesn’t have much view but buildings. Location: In Flushing Chinatown, lots of shopping and eateries of many different kind. 3 blocks from #7 subway station that takes to main Queens Blvd area, in Mahattan stops at Grand Central, Broadway, Edge (Edge has Railway park and 4 blocks from Penn Station (Moynihan Train hall). 15min walk from hotel is Met stadium(or one stop away on 7 train), Flushing Meadows Park. There is a shopping mall at the lower level of the hotel.”

“Booking was smooth and easy. Edwin Y. Was great help through out the process. Rooms were clean and spacious. The view is spectacular, the food was delicious. The indoor pool is a great asset. Edwin was great with the accommodations. Check in was smooth and everyone was friendly. Definitely looking forward to coming back.”
